What will it hold for us.. 

Aliens visiting and destroying the human race because of our communication errors (prometheus),  travelling to distant planets living in space (Jetsons), androids like Data (Star Trek), apocalyptic world (Mad Max) Replicating and enhancing what we have and what we do have is probability the best for a reason..

who knows.. only time, future and the maker of all things know.
